Legends

My heart is an alien on a journey
Through a forest of giants
I walk slowly following eroded tracks

With our monuments we copy the giants of the nature
trying to catch the wonders in our legends
searching our place in it
Histories shift through generations
An ancient sense of place revealing
fantastical explanations of unimaginable formations
From core of earth to last star of the galaxy
A sacred geometry imbues secret power
I get vertigo looking through a microscope
I weave my roots into the universe
And I ask myself
Is there a point at which the story ends and life begins?
Our collective conscious neverending,
These deciphered truths shifting, dissolving, unfolding in time
Movement transports us and embodied words enfold memory.
